The Company

Originally founded in 1946 DiPonio Construction Company Inc. is one of Michigan's oldest commercial and industrial masonry contractors. We credit our success to the dedication and hard work of our employees, who have always taken pride in the company and the work they produce. We are fully insured and bonded. We are members of the Mason Contractors Association, CAM (Construction Association of Michigan), and the International Brick Layers Union.

Recognized as a leader in the masonry industry, our staff of skilled professionals is committed to forming a long lasting relationship with our customers. We are a family owned and operated company, valuing every customer and understanding their needs.

With offices in Southeast Michigan, we provide services throughout Michigan and Northern Ohio.

Company Owners

Louis "Louie" M. DiPonio, President
From the young age of 10, Louis worked alongside his Grandfather, Louis DiPonio, the company's founder, moving mortar in a wheelbarrow. This business is in his blood, knowing from an early age that this was his destiny. "I still go to Grandpa's house for his sage advice," Louie says.

Matthew "Matt" J. DiPonio, Vice President
Matt joined the family business when he was in high school, laboring for a few years before moving into the role of estimator, then accounting and into management. He and Louie acquired ownership of the business from their late father, Thomas P. DiPonio in 1999.

Our Mission

It is important to us at DiPonio Construction to build this legacy of quality masonry installation not only for the company itself, but also for the time-honored trade of masonry in general. Our priorities are Safety, Quality and Productivity.

Commercial services are our primary business though we accept and bid residential jobs as well.
